How I can help you
With more that 40 years experience in the fashion industry, I bring to all mentoring sessions current and important branding and marketing strategies across many platforms. My experience covers the apparel industry in many forms, both retail and wholesale, and includes branding, repositioning a brand, marketing and merchandising and conceptualizing your brand.....getting down to it's DNA.
I am currently a professor of business and marketing at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City as well as the co-owner of a marketing/branding/business building consulting company, incubator1. My clients include both retailers and wholesalers in apparel. And in the past I have worked within the home decor and food service businesses. Having worked for major department and specialty stores, full price and off price, and having had my own retail store and an ecommerce site I bring to all mentoring sessions a unique perspective.
The hours I mentor at SCORE are Thursdays 11 - 5 at 26 Federal Plaza. One of those Thursdays I am at he SIBL Library at 34 th Street and Madison Avenue from 4 - 7:40. Because of the very nature of the fashion industry I only mentor in the face to face environment. Email, phone and face time mentoring is too much of a challenge and generally unproductive to both clients and myself. All new or first time clients must book their initial appointment using the SCORE on line calendar which is updated on a regular basis with my available hours on Thursdays. Unfortunately, this is the only day I am available to SCORE mentoring sessions.
I look forward to meeting you all so please feel free to go the the SCORE on line calendar and find a day and time convenient to your schedule and book an appointment so I can hopefully set you on the path of a successful fashion business.
